EBRD boosts small businesses in Jordan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a loan in Jordanian Dinar - equivalent to $20 million - to Cairo Amman Bank for on-lending to local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Access to finance remains a challenge for Jordan's MSMEs, despite accounting for 95% of active firms in the country.
