New power plant to be established in Nigeria

A new electricity generating company, Qua Iboe Power Plant, is to be set up at the Qua Iboe Onshore Terminal in Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The project is to be jointly established by the Akwa Ibom State Government with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation joint venture, Dangote Group, BlackRhino, African Development Bank, International Finance Consortium, with the Islamic Development Bank as financiers of the project.
