FRV reaches financial close on Mexico solar project

ING Bank, Bancomext and KfW IPEX-Bank are providing $209 million of debt for a 300MW FRV-sponsored solar PV project in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi. TSK Group has the turnkey construction contract for the project which includes inverters (supplied by Ingeteam) and tracking systems (supplied byGonvarri). The deal is KfW IPEX-Bank's first renewable energy project in Mexico.

The solar park is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2018. The project benefits from a long-term offtake contract with state-owned Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE).
