ADB to extend $5bn for next 3 years in South Asia

The Asian Development Bank plans to extend $5 billion for 26 projects in South Asia between 2018 and 2020. The financing was announced at a meeting of member countries of the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation, a projects-based partnership which aims to improve cross-border transport connectivity, promote energy trade, and facilitate faster and less-costly trade in the region.
