KDB to launch $2.3bn support program for SMEs

Korea Development Bank (KDB) is to offer a new $2.3 billion financial aid program - called KDB Global Challengers 200 - for small and medium-sized enterprises. It will see 200 companies with strong growth potential given special financial aid. The bank will begin by selecting 40 companies this year and take applications until May.

Companies must have been in business for at least seven years and make 30 billion won or more in sales annually.
