Croatian LNG terminal gets environmental greenlight

Croatia's Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy has approved the environmental impact study prepared for the floating LNG terminal proposed for the island of Krk in the northern Adriatic. The initial FSRU phase of the project may be expanded to become a land-based facility depending on demand. Project developer LNG Hrvatska has been pledged €101.4 million or 28% of the project value by Brussels. The final investment decision is expected before July.
