$50m of ADFD/IRENA development loans available for energy projects

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has made $50 million available and, together with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), is inviting applications for its seventh funding cycle for renewable energy projects in developing countries.

Under the initiative projects will need to obtain a government guarantee for the ADFD loan and will need to demonstrate that they will increase energy access, improve livelihoods and advance sustainable development.
