GI Hub releases new project preparation tool

Region:
Middle East & Africa, Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe

The Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub) has released the new Governmental Processes Facilitating Infrastructure Project Preparation tool to help prepare bankable and sustainable projects.

Early stages of planning and project conceptualisation typically cost 3-10% of the total project investment. The tool aids the establishment of procedures and capacity to ensure investment is only made in projects that are commercially viable, affordable, and deliverable.

The reference tool was created by using analysis of project preparation practices in 15 countries and complements the work of the multilateral development banks who provide support to countries through their project preparation facilities (PPFs).
