CIB to support On Corridor rail project with C$2bn finance package

Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) has announced that it will provide C$2 billion ($1.5 billion) of financing for Ontario's GO Expansion - On Corridor rail project.  CIB will finalise a credit agreement with the preferred proponent when selected for the project. Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx are the co-sponsors of the rail network modernisation project for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
