FDN approves loan for Bosques de los Llanos 1 solar project

FDN has approved a COP24 billion loan for the 27.2MWp Bosques de los Llanos 1 solar project in Meta, Colombia. The project is sponsored by Changzhou Trina Solar Energy and will be financed via its subsidiary Trina Solar Energy Espana. The deal is the first non-conventional renewable energy project financing to get FDN backing, and the borrower’s project debut in Colombia.
