KfW-IPEX helps finance expansion of India's JSW Steel

Germany's KfW IPEX-Bank has agreed a €48.5 million export financing loan to help fund several expansion and modernisation programmes of Indian steel producer JSW Steel. 

The funds will be used to purchase goods and services from German companies and their subsidiaries. The loan, which pools various exports of German manufacturers which are required for JSW Steel's local operations, has a cover from Euler Hermes to the extent of 95%.
