Orsted-led H2RES green hydrogen pilot project awarded funding
The Danish Energy Agency under its Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) has awarded DKK 34.6 million ($5 million) to a consortium of seven industrial partners for the construction of a 2MW electrolysis plant with hydrogen storage. Orsted is the principal partner in the H2RES demonstrator project that includes Everfuel Europe, NEL Hydrogen, GreenHydrogen, DSV Panalpina, Hydrogen Denmark and Energinet Elsystemansvar. The project will be located at the Avedore Power Station, Orsted's biomass-fuelled CHP plant.
