Mubadala signs agreement for Talimarjan power expansion

UAE sovereign investor Mubadala Investment Company, the Uzbekistan Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and JSC Thermal Power Plants have signed an implementation agreement for the development of a power complex at Talimarjan. The agreement establishes a roadmap for the acquisition, development, financing and operation of the power plant. The current complex comprises of the 1.7GW existing gas-fired generation with a plan for further expansion.
