Development Bank of Wales unveils technology team hires

The Technology Venture Investments team at the Development Bank of Wales is expanding with the appointment of Dr Helen Kuhlman as a senior investment executive, while Alex Leigh is promoted to a senior investment executive, and David Blake is promoted from an assistant investment executive to an investment executive.

Kuhlman was previously VP Corporate Development of an Oxford-based biotech developing therapeutics for central nervous system disorders, and has also held roles in both private sector and government organisations. 

Leigh joined the Development Bank of Wales in 2018 and has been instrumental in securing a number of early-stage and seed deals for the organisation. 

Blake has has previously developed a blockchain based application as well as started a software as a service accountancy reporting business.
