EBRD provides $200m loan to develop Egypt's gas infrastructure

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is providing a $200 million loan to Egypt to finance the modernisation of selected gas infrastructure facilities. The loan will be extended to the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company and its subsidiary Egyptian Natural Gas Company to fund the introduction of state-of-the-art technologies to recover waste heat from gas turbines used to drive gas compressors.
